Dragonfly Cottage is an end terrace property, within a few minutes walk of the centre of Beverley.

Dating back to the 17th century and belonging to the church of St Mary, this lovely little cottage was once home to the local monks. This property is ideal for couples or friends wishing to enjoy this vibrant market town. The property promises a memorable stay with comfort throughout. The living room with its open fire and a comfortable sofa, will be the ideal place to sit and relax after a day of exploring. The large dining area flows into a galley style kitchen with a unique feature wooden wall. The modern kitchen provides all the appliances you could wish for and is a great space to cook either a hearty breakfast or a romantic evening meal. From the dining area are the stairs leading up to the first floor.

Do take a moment to check out the view of the Minster from the landing window. Here you will find two well-presented bedrooms offering both twin and kingsize double accommodation. Both rooms have been tastefully decorated with matching soft furnishings. The beds are designed with guest comfort in mind and the deep comfortable mattresses assure you will have a great nights sleep.

To the rear of the property and leading out from the dining room, is an enclosed courtyard which catches the afternoon sun. As Dragonfly Cottage is dog friendly, this area also provides a little outside space for your pets. A small outhouse provides storage for bikes. There is also on street permit parking for one vehicle. Beverley is certainly one of the East Riding’s loveliest towns and the cottage is within walking distance of many independent shops, boutiques, cafés and tea rooms.

There are also many eateries to choose from including award-winning restaurants. The train station provides access to the historic city of York via Hull as well as to some of the east coast’s seaside towns. The North Yorkshire Moors and seaside towns of Hornsea, Bridlington and Scarborough are all within easy reach. This home away from home is ideally located to enjoy city living but to also explore the stunning Yorkshire Wolds and the surrounding countryside. Shop 400 yards, pub 100 yards and restaurant 500 yards.
