10 Newbegin is an imposing Grade 2 listed 37 roomed mansion which was built in 1746. Despite being situated less than 100 yards from Saturday Market in the centre of Beverley and within walking distance of all the main attractions of this historic market town, 10 Newbegin is in a tranquil setting with a large walled garden and plenty of off street parking. The guest rooms are large, comfortable and well appointed, with king sized beds and an excellent en suite shower or private bathroom. There is an attractive sitting room for the use of guests which features an open marble fire place. The large, high ceilinged dining room featuring decorative plaster work, cut glass chandelier and shuttered windows can be used by arrangement for small conferences. Breakfast times are flexible to suit the convenience of guests, and whether you are on holiday or here on business, a big breakfast using locally sourced ingredients and cooked on the Aga will set you up for the day. All guests, including children, are guaranteed a warm welcome.

10 Newbegin is within easy walking distance of St. Mary's Parish Church, Beverley Art Gallery, The Guildhall, The Treasure House, Beverley Leisure Complex and the magnificent Beverley Minster. Several restaurants and pubs to suit all tastes are within 5 minutes walk. There are riding stables in Molescroft. The Westwood, which comprises 600 acres of pastureland and woods, has Beverley Racecourse and a golf course.

The costal resorts of Hornsea and Bridlington, the City of Hull with its Marina and several museums, the ancient city of York and several stately homes are within easy driving distance of Beverley and there are also good bus and rail services to Hull and elsewhere, so 10 Newbegin is an ideal base for a varied holiday as well as a convenient location for visitors on business. From W, N or S. Leave M62 Eastbound at last exit. Go through North Cave and Walkington to the Westwood pasture. Fork left opposite Golf Club and enter Beverley on Westwood Road. Go straight on at staggered junction at bottom of Westwood Road, into Newbegin. Number 10 is near bottom on left. Enter car parking area through black metal gates. SAT NAV: 10 Newbegin, HU17 8EG
From E. After passing Tickton village, enter Beverley along Norwood. Turn left at TLs in Town Centre, pass Tescos on left, straight on over lights and turn right at mini round about. Follow one way system, passing Wednesday Market on right and Magistrates Court and Library on left. At cross roads with Lairgate, go straight over. Turn right at end of road and continue straight on until road turns left into Westwood Road. At that junction, turn right into Newbegin, a narrow one way street. 10 Newbegin is near bottom on left. Enter car arking area through black metal gates.
From Beverley Train Station, walk to Saturday Market (10 minutes). Then go through alleyway to left of Briggs & Powell, cross carefully over Lairgate and walk up Newbegin. Number 10 is 50 yards on right.
From Beverley Bus Station, walk to Saturday Market (3 minutes). Then go through alleyway to left of Briggs & Powell, cross carefully over Lairgate and walk up Newbegin. Number 10 is 50 yards on right.
