Go Spike – Explore
The East Riding has four ‘Go Spike’ Beach Volleyball courts which are installed every year from Easter until the end of September. They’re available for anyone to use and are situated along Bridlington South Beach.
Two courts are located in front of the Foreshores Office, Princess Mary Promenade, Bridlington (YO15 2QQ) and two at South Cliff Beach, below the Park and Ride (YO15 3QN)
Both areas of beach provide an ideal location with café’s and public facilities nearby and equipment available to hire from the Foreshores Office and the Park and Ride information point for a small refundable deposit (available 9 till 4pm).
Go Spike is a nationwide campaign delivered in partnership with Volleyball England which aims to increase participation and make beach volleyball more accessible to all ages.
So why not grab a ball, hit the beach and access this free facility for some fun with family and friends.
Join In - Get involved –
If you want to learn more about the game, then why not join in an organised coaching session, delivered by the Sport, Play & Arts Service. Sessions will be held throughout the school holidays for both adults and young people.
