Hull is a vibrant waterfront city with a modern European feel but one that is also proud of its rich heritage. The cobbled streets of the old town, dominated by the beautiful architecture of the buildings along them, lead you back in time. Hulls close connection to the sea is evident as you tour the city, the Arctic Corsair which was Hull’s last side fishing vessel or 'side winder' is moored by the museums quarter, hear tales from fishermen that once worked aboard.

A visit to the Spurn Lightship moored in the marina gives a fasinating glimpse in to life aboard a working vessel. Back on dry land and a visit to Yorkshires only waterfront city would not be complete without a look inside the Maritime Museum complete with a full sized whale skeleton!

Hull Marina
Tapas and a glass of wine with the sun setting on the water? Sitting on marina you could easily mistake it for somewhere a lot more mediterranean. With many dining and drinking options it is a great place to start your tour of the city.
