Saturday 18th – Sunday 19th May (10am – 5pm both days).

Bridlington Kite Festival is FREE to attend.

Bridlington Kite Festival takes place at Sewerby Fields, the postcode is YO15 1ER.

Where's the best place to park?
The closest Car Parks are Sewerby Picnic Area YO15 1ER or Limekiln Lane YO15 2LX.

Can we take the Land Train to the event?
Yes! Tickets start from £1.50 Trains and run every half an hour from 10.30am until 4.30pm (subject to weather conditions).

Is there lots to do for children/families?
Bridlington Kite Festival is the perfect family event with International Kite Displays, Children's Entertainment, Street Food Village, Picnic Area, Active Coast Zone, Traditional Fairground Rides and much more!

Is it dog-friendly?
Yes. However, dogs must be kept on leads at all times. Please follow instructions from stewards/security on the day.

Can I fly my own Kite?
Yes, you can bring your own kite as there’s lots of space for public flying. Alternatively you can purchase a Kite from one of our Kite Traders on the day. Please follow instructions from stewards/security on the day.

Where is the nearest cash machine?
There is no cash machine on site, the nearest  to Sewerby Fields is the Co-OP. 3 Marton Gate, Sewerby, Bridlington, YO16 6YS. It’s around a 20 minute walk and a five minute drive.

Can I trade at the event?
