Bridlington will play host to a 5 star UK Beach Tour event with our partners Skyball. The event will showcase the UK’s best professional players with music, grandstand seating and top class action to watch. The UK Pro Beach Tour is the Active Coast showcase beach volleyball event and attracts some of the best players in the UK and Europe such as Jake Sheaf (2018 Commonwealth Games) & Lynne Beattie (London 2012). The tour formed part of a four series event in 2018 which included locations such as Cardiff & Weymouth and featured grandstand seating, music and plenty of top class sporting action to watch. The tour locations are due to expand in 2019 with Bridlington South Cliff beach confirmed for Saturday 13 & Sunday 14 July.

The event is enjoyed and supported by local residents and tourists and also includes a range of family beach activities and a World Record attempt for the longest game of beach volleyball.
