A unique celebration of our East Yorkshire coastline, featuring artists from across the UK. Including Bridlington’s first ever stone stacking championships, UK’s longest Sand drawing attempt with local school children and 3 days of workshops and demonstrations

Activities take place across Bridlington’s North and South beaches and Sewerby Hall and Gardens all weekend.

South / South Cliff Beach Bridlington; 9.30am – 3.30pm (or until the tide comes in)

UK’s Longest Sand Drawing Attempt:
Meet us at 9.30am on South Cliff beach near the Park & Ride to help transform the whole of South beach in an ambitious one-mile drawing attempt.

Also, on Friday - Open Beach Art Session North Beach from 10am
Join renowned artists Kev Potts, James Craig Page, Julia Brooklyn and Richard Shilling for an open stone art session. See the artist create new work, get tips and advice about creating temporary and ephemeral art in nature and create your own artworks on the beach.

Sewerby Hall and Gardens (General admission charges apply - Quote LSS25 for 25% discount)

Join the artists in the gardens and explore the creative possibilities of the natural landscape. Activities include:
o Natural art trail
o Large creative collaborations led by the artists
o Stone balancing demonstrations and workshop...and not forgetting the Willow Sculpture with Mark and Rebecca.

Willow Sculpture in Sewerby Hall and Gardens* from 10am (General admission charges apply - Quote LSS25 for 25% discount)

Mark and Rebecca Ford of Two Circles Design begin creating a new interactive willow sculpture for the grounds of Sewerby Hall, join them and help create an exciting new wildlife watching hide.

Bridlington Stone Stacking Championship - From 10am North Beach

Register for either the individual or family competition and challenge yourself with a series of time creative challenges such as:

ADULTS INDIVIDUAL COMPETITION – Pre booking required (max 25 people) email
o Most stones stacked (30 mins) 10.00 - 10.30am
o Against the clock (2 mins) 11.30 - 12.30pm
o Creative challenge (2 hours) 1.30 - 3.30pm
o Judging / Prizes 4.00pm

o Family creative challenge (2 hours) 1.30 - 3.30pm

Artist demonstrations and workshops running alongside the competition throughout the day, including:

Stone Art Workshops and Demonstrations - Bridlington North Beach

Sand Drawing Workshop and Open Beach Doodle - Bridlington South Beach
