This early 14th Century medieval church is one of Hull's two oldest churches and boasts an incredible history. Featuring the 16th Century Harrison Brass, fifteenth Century glass in the East Window, notable monuments dating from 1525, including a monument to Hull ship builder Benjamin Blaydes, and several 19th Century memorials of famous Hull people as well as a distinctive 20th century Rood Screen - St Mary's is definitely worth a visit. The tower gives stunning views of the Humber estuary and across Hull.
