Bishop Wilton is a small village located 4 miles north of Pocklington. Just North of the village lies Bishop Wilton Wold, known as Garrowby Hill, which is the highest point on the Yorkshire Wolds.

The village is considered by some to be one of the prettiest villages in East Yorkshire. A shallow beck runs through the village, which children enjoy paddling in. It is very popular with walkers, you can find various walks in our Walking the Wolds pack-this can be purchased from various local retailers and Tourist Information Centres.
