You will find The Green Dragon in Beverley within a short stroll of Lairgate, Ladygate and Hengate - however you won't find another like it. Step in to discover a traditinal pub of unique character, revered for its eclectic range of real ales and its quality pub food, which are served, as they should be with a generous measure of famous British hospitality.

The Green Dragon's historical documents date to 1746 when it was known as the Malt House. It was renamed The Green Dragon in 1765 but we think the building dates to the middle of the 17th Century. It is said the pub is haunted by the ghost of a young Danish soldier in the service of William III who was executed after killing a comrade in a duel in 1689.
