RSPB Bempton Cliffs
One of England's top wildlife attractions. Over 200,000 nesting seabirds, including gannets and puffins, from April - September. Visitor Centre, shop, refreshments, toilets, nature trail and spectacular cliff top walks throughout the year.
On a visit to this wonderful site, you are guaranteed grandstand views as an amazing wildlife story unfolds and the birds nest and raise their young. From the cliff-top path and our special viewpoints, you'll experience the sights, the sounds - and the smells - of life among one of the UK's largest and most important seabird colonies.
But the action isn't just during the spring and summer; each season brings a different experience. From the cacophony of noise at breeding time, to the spectacular grandeur of the sea crashing against the towering cliffs in autumn and winter, there's always something different at RSPB Bempton Cliffs.
Don't worry if you're not too hot at identifying birds, we have specially-trained, friendly staff and volunteers on hand to help you spot the difference between a razorbill and a guillemot, a kittiwake and a herring gull.
So, whether you're out to watch the endearing puffins or to blow away the cobwebs with a walk along the cliff-top path, RSPB Bempton Cliffs is a brilliant place to be.
