Visit England Awards - Direct Entry and Free Workshop
There is an opportunity for some tourism businesses from Hull & East Yorkshire to apply directly to the Visit England Awards. This is where our own Remarkable East Yorkshire Tourism Award categories do not directly match.
The categories open to apply for are:
- Boutique Accommodation/Small Hotel*
- Dog-Friendly Business
- Glamping Business of the Year*
- Guided Tour of the Year*
- Inclusive Tourism Award
- Sustainable Tourism Award
* indicates new or amended category for 2017
The VisitEngland Awards for Excellence will take place in spring 2017 and applications will open in late August with a closing date of 14 October 2016.
In partnership with Visit Hull and East Yorkshire, VisitEngland is pleased to announce a free workshop on the awards. The workshop will be an opportunity for your business to discover more about the award categories, application process and what the judges look for in a winning business. The session will also cover ‘Managing Guest Expectations and Online reviews’, so could be of interest to any accommodation provider, visitor attraction, restaurant or pub operator.
If you would like to directly apply to the VE Awards or would like to learn more about imporving award submissions we would highly reccommend attending.
