Freedom once again wowed the crowds with cutting-edge street theatre, family entertainment, premieres, spectacular world dance and music from all genres as Hull's city centre buzzed with the excitement of international standard entertainment.
The crowds were in awe as the artists of Page Blanche crafted amazing images before their very eyes, they marvelled at the kaleidoscope of colours as they explored the tunnels of the Mirazozo, and children's laughter could be heard as they rode the Cow-go-Round and watched their favourite characters in the outdoor cinema.
The Fruit Market became a bohemian hub with pop up bars and cafes, a World food village, a brand new micro brewery and two stages showcasing the finest in local, national and international bands!
Hull City Hall and Hull Truck Theatre hosted a splendid array of performers including the amazing voice of Camille O'Sullivan, the polished comedy of Arthur Smith and the sublime Frisky and Mannish as well as the world premier of the Hull Freedom Chorus and a moving performance from Kate Peyton.
