You'll find some of East Yorkshire's most loved seaside towns within easy reach of Bridlington... Hornsea is the perfect place for a family day out by the sea or spend a day by the seaside in the smaller, more traditional resort of Withernsea.

Enjoy a fun day out at Bondville Model Village


Come and marvel at Bridlington's minature masterpiece with over 200 buildings including a Castle, ruined Abbey and a Harbour to rival Bridlington's own.  Then take afternoon tea in the Bondville Model Village cafe.

Try rolling your own Rock at John Bull

Sticks of Rock

Make a colourful stick of rock or delightful chocolate lolly treat, relax in the cafe, then shop till you drop in the John Bull Rock factory Shop.

Climb to the top of a Lighthouse

If you're feeling energetic why not take the many steps to the top of Flamborough Lighthouse or Withernsea Lighthouse where you will experience fantastic views out to the sea and along the coast! 

Take a stroll around the Hornsea Folk Museum

Step back in time at our Harbour Heritage Museum, learn about the history of Bridlington's 900 year old harbour and see the restored sailing coble, Three Brothers, in the Harbour.

Sail out of the 900 year old harbour on a pirate ship or the famous Yorkshire Belle, or for those brave enough jump aboard the speedboat.

Fun Fair at Bridlington
Pop into the amusements, whether its for ten pin bowling, cinema, crazy golf, the latest arcade games, or to try you luck at bingo or the money falls and claw machines or why not take a spin on the funfair?
Penguins at Sewerby Zoo
Be introduced to an exciting world of mammals and birds at Sewerby Zoo. Come and meet a wealth of animals from various countries. Firm favourites are our Humboldt penguins who are fed daily at 3pm.
Take the Land Train up and down the North Promenade and South Promenade. The north train runs between Sewerby Hall and Gardens to the new leisure development in the town centre.
Treat the kids to some well loved seaside favourites; fish and chips, icecream, candyfloss or some freshly made fresh cream waffles and sugar sprinkled doughnuts.
Add donkey rides onto your 'must see' list of childrens activities! The adorable collection of well behaved and well loved animals, all wear their names proudly on their harnesses.
Chalets on South Beach, Bridlington
Perfect for sand free sandwiches, watch the world go by from a cosy beach chalet, whilst the kids build sandcastles.  These prestigious seafront chalets are available to hire for a day or a week.
Swimming Pool at ERL Bridlington
East Riding Leisure Bridlington is a brand new development. The centre will feature the splash Zone with slides and water jets, Clip and Climb wall and will be the main hub for sports in Bridlington.
