France, 1935. A middle-aged baker arrives with his much younger wife, but the villagers' comic gossip soon evaporates when the local heartthrob whisks her away and the baker hits the bottle. Left without bread, the bickering villagers hatch a crazy plan to get her back but soon fall under the spell of the baker's special recipe of love and forgiveness. Fall in love all over again with the Yorkshire premier of this hilarious and heart-warming musical by the writers of *Wicked, Enchanted* and *Fiddler on the Roof*.
