Soul II Soul

featuring Jazzie B and Caron Wheeler

Legendary British R&B group Soul II Soul announce a rare one night only show in Hull, featuring full line-up with strings and the iconic sound of Caron Wheeler on vocals. Led by producer/vocalist/songwriter Jazzie B, Soul II Soul were one of the most innovative dance/R&B outfits of the late 80s, creating a seductive, deep R&B that borrowed from Philly soul, disco, reggae, and 80s. They inspired a generation and continue to do so, with the likes of Will.I.Am being a huge fan.
Best known for their hits “Back To Life”, “Keep On Movin” and “Get A Life”, Soul II Soul have sold in excess of 10 million albums worldwide. In 1990 they picked up two Grammy Awards, Jazzie B has also been honoured at the Ivor Novello Awards and awarded an OBE for services to music, the first sound man to be honoured by Her Majesty The Queen.
