French guitarist Sébastien Giniaux is one of the most renowned guitar players from the new generation of guitar players inspired by Django Reinhardt. He has toured the world with many of the world’s greatest musicians, such as, Biréli Lagrène, Taraf de Haidouks, Richard Galliano, and Didier Lockwood..Expect Jazz manouche (gypsy jazz) at its very best with flavours of balkan music and contemporary jazz.
The Grimaldi Quartet is the creation of composer Steve Aston, formed in 2012 as an outlet for his compositions based on the gypsy jazz waltzes of Matelo Ferre and avante garde compositions of the 20th century and features Hull-born Matt Holborn on violin.
