On Sunday, June 18th next year the 4th Humber Bridge Cycle Sportive will be starting and finishing at Hesslewood Office Park. The central aim of our event is to raise as much money as possible for local charities - 600 riders took part last year, and we were able to donate £8,400 to The Ellie Penrose Fund.
There will be 3 routes of 22, 42, and 62 miles to choose from; all 3 routes head over to the quiet roads of North Lincs, before returning across the Humber Bridge to The Hesslewood Office Park
Could you take up the challenge - either as an individual rider, or as part of a team? If you are a novice cyclist, Dale from DNA-Health, and soon to be occupying The Temple gym on the Estate, will be happy to help structure your training programme should you need advice. Last year we also formed a partnership with East Riding County Council and their "Cycle4Life" scheme, whose aim it is to get both children and adults cycling, and developing a healthier lifestyle.
On the day of the event, there will be a range of exciting cycling related activities to take part in, plus demonstrations by the top UK cycling stunt team - all provided free of charge, with Lincs FM broadcasting live from the Estate.
In order to maximise the money we are able to donate to charity, we are always very grateful to receive company sponsorship for the various elements of our event. If you feel you could help in this regard, we would be pleased to discuss any ideas with you.
