In 2018, Burton Constable Hall is delighted to be taking part in the Chippendale 300 festival, which will celebrate 300 years since the birth of England's most-famous furniture maker Thomas Chippendale (1718-79).

This new exhibition will feature the beautifully crafted Chippendale furniture on permanent display in the Chippendale Room and Great Drawing Room alongside an array of rarely seen original drawings, bills and letters from the archives.

Location: Burton Constable Hall (part of the free-flow visit to the hall)
Time: 12pm - 5pm (during normal opening times)

Accessible toilets and baby changing facilities are in the Stables Courtyard. We have designated parking in the car park and also at the front of the house (not always available on event days). The Hall is disabled friendly with an ambulant stair lift to first floor and wheelchair loan (maximum 2 people at any one time),however in the event of an emergency disabled visitors must be able to get down the stairs on their own or with the help of their friends, family or carer. Surfaces both inside and outside may be uneven. Wheelchair loan is also available for the grounds, the paths/walkways are mainly gravel. Visitor's own manual wheelchair can be used on the ground floor

    From Hull follow the A165 towards Bridlington. At the 2nd roundabout take the B1238 towards Sproatley and follow the historic house signs.
