Grandstand viewpoint at RSPB Bempton Cliffs

Grandstand viewpoint at RSPB Bempton Cliffs

Six cliff-top viewpoints get visitors close to the sights, sounds and smells of the nesting seabirds and give spectacular views along the coast. Three viewpoints are fully wheelchair accessible.

Set on top of 400 feet high cliffs with stunning seascapes, join experienced tutor and author, Sue Wilsea for a creative writing workshop which uses our relationship with the natural world as a starting-point to write creatively in whatever form is preferred (poetry, prose or script).

“Art takes Nature as its model”, so Aristotle said, and that’s what we’ll be exploring in this inspiring session, suitable for absolute beginners or those with some writing background. We'll use triggers and stimuli for writing, including time to write and the opportunity for some professional feedback.

The workshop will last 4 hours starting at 10.30 am and includes light lunch and drink in the price. £30 per person, booking is essential.
