Details

Flamborough Headland is one of the best places in the UK to experience bird migration. Scandinavian migrants rush across the North Sea for our berries and milder winters! A telescope will be available for close up views but please bring binoculars if you have a pair. Led by a local bird watching guide with Yorkshire Coast Nature.

Please keep your dog under close control and do not disturb wildlife of other visitors. Please clean up after your dog. Pay and Display charges apply all year. The nature trail has a firm surface and is step free. Access to the beach is via a steep flight of 75 steps from the trail. Alternatively walk from the car park down the steep road to the lifeboat station, unfortunately there is no parking here. Public toilets are located in the living seas centre car park, at Danes Dyke and Flamborough Lighthouse car park.

South Landing is located approximately one mile south of Flamborough village and four miles east of Bridlington.
From Bridlington take the B1255 to Flamborough then the B1259, turning right and following signs to South Landing. A local bus service is also available.
