Treasure House, Beverley

Details

During its eighty-year history, the Beverley shipbuilding company of Cook, Welton and Gemmell built some 1,317 vessels, mostly fishing trawlers for the major ports of Hull, Grimsby, Fleetwood, Lowestoft and Aberdeen.

The company archives are now held at the Treasure House.

Join Dr Robb Robinson and Dr Alex Ombler as they take you on a voyage through this fascinating aspect of our local maritime history.
