Guided Walk, Mon 11 Sep 2017

Beverley Minister

Beverley Minister

Join Colin Bradshaw for a walk which takes you round some of Beverley's oldest streets, using a route designed to make it easier for someone with limited mobility. The route uses dropped kerbs, to give those using a wheelchair or mobility scooter, the chance to more easily access the centre of the town and learn about the town's history.
We will tell you about floods, famous people, executions and the life of ordinary people. Past entertainments will be described from theatres to cock fighting and some of the drinking dens patronised by the rich and poor.

Meet outside the Tesco Main Entrance (closest to town centre)
